Insyde® Software and Keytouch® Form Partnership to Advance Input Method Solutions for Mobile & Handheld Devices

WALNUT, CALIFORNIA AND TAIPEI, TAIWAN, MAY 26, 2009 - Keytouch, Inc., a technology development company for mobile text input solutions, and Insyde Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS firmware, today announced they have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance the Keytouch product and expand its worldwide distribution channels. In addition to collaborating on the future development of the MultiPlay product family, Insyde Software through this arrangement becomes the exclusive worldwide selling representative for Keytouch.

Keytouch's MultiPlay® is the company's flagship product delivering an intuitive user interface with predictive text, a personalized user database, easy text editing and an auto-learning input system. The patented input technology incorporates the use of a navigation D-pad (up-down-left-right-center) for users to optionally override input data thus enabling predictive, non-predictive and other data/function entries all without switching input modes. MultiPlay's "fix on-demand" OSD (on-screen display) provides an intuitive and seamless interface for users that commonly use predictive text.

Keytouch licenses its software keyboard text entry solution MultiPlay Chinese to HTC Corp., a global leader in mobile phone innovation and design. Keytouch's MultiPlay Chinese ships on HTC's C720w, C730, C500, Diamond and Touch HD models in Asian markets. These devices use a mix of 12-keypad phone keyboards, QWERTY keyboards, PDA Smartphone interfaces and hybrid-keyboards.
