Insyde Software Gaining Mobile Market Firmware Leadership Widespread Acceptance from Major Mobile Computer Manufacturers Shipping

WESTBOROUGH, MA & TAIPEI, TAIWAN, AUGUST 12, 2008 - Insyde Software, a leading provider of UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) based firmware, BIOS, and engineering services, today announced its InsydeH2O™„§ UEFI firmware product supporting the Intel® CoreTM2 Duo processors and Intel® GM45 and PM45 Express chipsets (formerly codenamed Montevina) is gaining a leadership position within the portable notebook market. Evidence of its widespread adoption is confirmed by the growing number of OEMs and ODMs who are currently shipping the Montevina platform with InsydeH2O™ UEFI firmware.
