Insyde Software In Stride with Intel® Embedded Architecture Roadmap

InsydeDIY™ Continues Support of Intel Development Platforms

Southborough, MA August 13, 2007 - Insyde Software, a provider of UEFI-based firmware, BIOS and engineering services, today announced the availability of its royalty-free InsydeDIY™ EFI firmware solution for the Intel® Xeon processor and Intel® 3100 chipset development kit. This announcement extends Insyde's coverage of Intel's embedded architecture roadmap with InsydeDIY. The company's InsydeH2O™ flagship product, a complete UEFI Framework solution, supports the entire Intel embedded silicon family. The new InsydeDIY™ firmware solution will be available at the end of August 2007.

InsydeDIY™ "Do-It-Yourself" EFI firmware solution is targeted at the embedded and communications market segments using Intel® architecture. It is aimed specifically towards embedded systems makers who do not need a complete BIOS implementation, and who want to develop a platform-specific set of initialization and boot code themselves.
