Insyde Adds AMD Geode?LX 800@0.9W Processor to Broad AMD Embedded Processor Platform Support
AMD Geode?LX 800@0.9W Processor Ships with Insyde XpressROM?LX
TAIPEI, TAIWAN and SOUTHBOROUGH, MA, May 23, 2005 - Insyde Software, a leading provider of firmware, system software and engineering services, today announced that it has extended its long-term collaboration with AMD with support for the new AMD Geode?LX 800@0.9W processor*. Insyde's XpressROM?firmware together with AMD's latest processor-based technology will provide the companies' joint customers the ability to rapidly develop highly dependable consumer devices with a rich mix of features and functionality.
Insyde's AMD Geode processor-based XpressROM LX BIOS powers the AMD Geode processor-based designs, providing a cost effective system level solution for consumer electronics, set-top boxes, thin clients, and single board computing products.
