Michael J. Kress Named Vice President of Sales and Ed Brohm Named Director of Sales

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass., April 26, 2005 - Insyde Technology, formerly Insyde Software, Inc. in the U.S., a leading provider of firmware, system software and engineering services, today announced new appointments to its sales team that will enhance and expand business development initiatives for the company. Mike Kress, who joined the company in June of 2004, recently took on responsibility for sales operations as Insyde Technology's new vice president of sales and business development. Also joining the team is Ed Brohm, as director of sales. These seasoned sales professionals are now part of the team responsible for driving new business development and strengthening customer and channel relationships in North America, South America and Europe.

In his new role, Mr. Kress will work with his team to drive expansion of Insyde Technology's market share for traditional and emerging firmware within the embedded systems and server computing markets. Critical to this effort is the continued strengthening and extension of relationships with leading silicon developers such as AMD, Intel, SMSC and others, an area of expertise for Kress. Mr. Brohm's role will specifically focus on developing and maintaining sales channel relationships along with key customer account responsibility.

Mr. Kress brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience to the executive team. His experience includes building, from start up, successful sales and field applications team focused on embedded OEM device makers in the U.S. Prior to joining the company, Mike was employed by Phoenix Technologies, Ltd., holding a variety of sales and management positions, most recently as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and Europe. Previously, he was employed by Impact Marketing Systems, Inc. a regional distributor of the former Digital Equipment Corp. He earned a B.S. degree in Management from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.

Mr. Brohm brings more than 15 years of sales and channel management experience to Insyde Technology. Formerly, Ed held top sales management positions with software and services firms, including Highstreet Networks, Venture Development Corporation and Infolibria. He has significant experience driving strategic partnerships and OEM relationships throughout his career. He earned a B.S. in marketing from State University of New York and an M.B.A from Boston College.
