INSYDE SOFTWARE STRENGTHENS EMBEDDED COMPUTING SOLUTIONS WITH SUPPORT FOR TRANSMETA'S NEW CRUSOE EMBEDDED PROCESSORS Enabling Software and Embedded Processors Aimed at High Performance Energy-Efficient Designs Westborough, MA, January 6, 2003 - Insyde Software, a leading provider of system-level software and system integration services, today announced its support for Transmeta's new Crusoe™ Special Embedded (SE) processors targeted at x86 embedded applications. In a separate announcement today, Transmeta is introducing new energy efficient Crusoe SE processors optimized for a wide range of embedded applications including scientific instrumentation, retail kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, automotive infotainment and home automation systems among others.
