Insyde Software Announces Investment by CDB and Intel Investment to support development of system software for mobile computers Taipei, Taiwan - October 12, 1999 -Insyde™ Software, a Taiwan, R.O.C.-based provider of critical software technologies for mobile computer and internet appliance manufacturers, announced today that it has received financing from China Development Industrial Bank (CDB) and Intel Pacific, Inc. The investment is intended to accelerate Insyde Software's development of system-level software and BIOS for mobile computers and Internet appliances. Founded in September 1998, Insyde Software designs, develops, and markets system BIOS, power management, keyboard/embedded controller firmware and development tools. Insyde Software has an international engineering organization that assists PC manufacturers in customizing these products to their unique specifications.
