Family of BIOS, Power Management and PC Card Software Products Help the MiTAC 5027 Win "Best Portable" Honors at Computex

(NASDAQ: SYSF), the leading supplier of enabling software to the mobile computing industry, today announced that its BIOS, power management and suite of PC Card software products helped enable MiTAC International's new 5027 to receive BYTE Magazine's prestigious "Best Portable" award at the recent Computex trade show held in Taipei, Taiwan.

SystemSoft software products which aided MiTAC in receiving this award include MobilePRO™ BIOS software, PowerProfiler™ for Windows NT power management software, and the following PC Card software products: CardWizard™ for Windows 3.1 and Windows NT, as well as CardWorks™ for Windows 95.

The Intel 233MHz with MMX technology-based MiTAC 5027 is a true desktop replacement portable computer. Its 14.2" screen provides one of the largest viewing areas of any mobile system. Its keyboard includes up to 90 keys, allowing mobile professionals to work as they would in the office environment. The MiTAC 5027's multipurpose bay and docking support add additional versatility and further desktop capabilities.
