  • MobilePRO BIOS software suite: Licensed by many of the world's leading portable PC OEMs, MobilePRO includes a core BIOS, value added BIOS layers, and easily customizable system control utilities that enable desktop-like functionality on portable computers. The software includes structured source code that streamlines customization engineers' processes for implementing OEM-specific features into the software and provides sophisticated design flexibility.
  • MAXIMIZER Power Management Software: helps the NEC Versa 2600 Series meet NEC's stringent power management requirements, and offers end-users extended battery life. The NEC Versa 2600 Series have four power management modes, ranging from maximum performance to maximum battery life. This allows users to extend battery life by automatically shutting down various system components such as the CPU, video, disk drives, and communications ports when they are not in use. In addition, the NEC Versa 2600 includes a wake-up alarm option, which allows the system to wake up from a suspend state at a user designated date and time.
  • CardWizard™ Automatic Problem Detection and Resolution - SystemSoft's highly acclaimed end-user Windows tool enables users to automatically diagnose and troubleshoot PC Card configuration problems, resolve resource conflicts, receive notification of PC Card activity, and launch applications upon card insertion. CardWizard uses an expert system that guides the user through diagnosis and resolution of many common PC Card compatibility problems, such as missing card drivers, improper installation, IRQ and I/O port resource conflicts, and incorrect allocation of memory windows.
  • SystemSoft's KeyPro keyboard controller firmware, supporting the H8 keyboard controller, initiates "hot key suspend" and "any key resume" capabilities. KeyPro improves overall system power management by power managing the keyboard controller (placing it into a sleep mode when not in use), as well as other system components, such as the back-light intensity control.
